ABOUT ARTIST
Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, lived in Kauai, Hawaii, and returned to California in 2011. Currently active in her art practice at the Murieta Studio and serves as the Art Director of Gallery KLBT. Contribute art columns to US Metro Monthly News and The One, a Korean art magazine. Taught art since the early 1990s at institutions like LACMA, the Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles, and Kauai Community College for seven years.
Education:
Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Painting in Seoul.
Studied Art at Cal State LA. (1983)
Exhibition:
22 solo exhibitions globally and participated in numerous group exhibitions.
Award & Selected Works in Museum Collection:
Named "Artist of the Month" by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea.
Receiving the Encouragement Public award from the French government in 1992.
ABOUT ARTWORK
The origin of her work lies in nature. All the animals and plants encountered in life become the subject matter of her paintings. Within the creations of nature, which are the works of the Creator, she learns about the absolute mystery and beautiful harmony of nature, and expresses that feeling through her artwork. Breathing in harmony with nature and communicating with the world, these connections become her way of expression.
Negative and positive emotions in our lives... and the purity that is diluted and refined within them. She adds numerous emotions that are superimposed onto the image of nature, using colors, lines, and the forms of nature.
Shapes that freely form on the canvas through the overlapping of colors and the meeting of lines become stories of life that appear to her like coincidences, and they become unique expressions.
Through this series of works, the artist hopes to become a tool of communication, allowing viewers to find solace in the infinite beauty of nature and envision a hopeful future.
About the Work <Hummingbirds>
Hummingbirds are spiritual animals that symbolize joy, playfulness, and adaptability, and provide simple pleasure in our daily lives. They are also said to awaken agile and flexible strength.
To me, this bird is a presence that comes to my garden first every spring, announcing the beginning of the season. This very small bird flits around in busy wingbeats, energizing all the flowers and creatures in the garden.
I first draw the blooming flowers in full on the canvas and invite this cute and lovely bird into the picture, which makes me aware of the simple beauty of life and fills me with optimistic anticipation.

Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 3-5 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
Shipping charges for all your orders will be free in the USA except for Alaska and Hawaii.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur.
We do not ship to P.O. boxes.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
leenleeartshop@gmail.com is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Damages
If you have received an order that was damaged during shipping, please email us immediately with the description of the damage as well as a picture. You can reach us at leenleeartshop@gmail.com
In order to receive a replacement or a refund, you must save all packaging materials, the product itself, and the damaged goods until personnel from the shipping carrier are sent out and have fully inspected the package.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
